Season 47, Week 2
Melbu Frahma
(Legend of Dragoon)

Foolish incompetent pathetic lowly humans. Did you really think you had seen the last of the great Melbu Frahma? He had to wait 11,000 years to be released from petrification. Having to wait a mere few years to return to the arena is nothing by comparison. Fie on those that have ignored him for Melbu’s endless patience has once more born fruit as he finally manages another entrance into the duelling league, and will take revenge on everyone who mocked him in his absence. Especially Jogurt. But proving himself in the elimination match will be Melbu’s first step on finally fulfilling the will of the God of Destruction. First by destroying Nicolai Conrad and then continuing ever onwards to bring destruction every where he goes, to duellers, to the world ... perhaps even decimating the duelling league itself. Can he be stopped?

AHAHAHAHAHAHA MELBU FRAHMA. AHAHAHA-wait, why are we laughing? Nicolai's not sure why there's mirth sometimes directed at the wayward final boss, but he's never one to give up a chance at evil laughter. Perhaps it's just the idea of a final boss in Heavy, although Nicolai certainly has little room for mirth there, being as he's not even a final boss...Regardless, Nicolai's strategy is pretty simple. Cast Barrier and hit his much-maligned opponent with Bright Crest over and over again. Which is his typical strategy. As it turns out, it's a decently effective one against Frahma, whose forms often have dubiously damaging and magically-reliant offense, although he still has a large mountain of hit points to chew through. Regardless, Nicolai's going to spend his time laughing until the match. It beats worrying.

Fact: Dark god empowered young males hit entirely too hard for mages to handle. Who knew?
