Season 48, Week 5
Alicia
(Valkyrie Profile: Silmeria)

Alicia's abilities are beyond question, demonstrated by three brutal wins over very tough foes. The princess of Dipan's next task? Taking down Claude Kenni and his nuclear arsenal of attacks. More than ever this will be a defensive struggle, as Claude has the damage to punch through Heal, if slowly. Alicia will have to very carefully pick when to poke the ensign and make good on her attacks, as one mis-step will result in being slaughtered by Mirror Slice. Scary? Sort of. Alicia's stared down an insane god or three in her day, complete with magical weapons of doom. How scary could one boy with a sword be after all that?

Three enemies have fallen upon Claude’s sword, and now just one single competitor remains between the Ensign and a solid chance of slashing his way back into the fabled halls of Godlike. Princess Alicia may have some fearsome Healing abilities that let her keep above the constant threat of lesser opponents, but unfortunately for her hopes and dreams of a Heavy title, Claude can easily surpass her 80% healing with the sheer, unhesitating might of Mirror Slice and Ripper Blast. Of course, Claude’s excellent defense will let him easily live through Alicia’s... less than robust attacks while his sword sings of her doom.

Claude stepped into the arena, and spoke calmly to Alicia.

Alicia snorted, and walked out of the arena, knowing she'd already won.

"I'm...not quite sure how you convinced her this was a match of voice acting, but thank you." Claude said to the small, furry creature in front of him.

"Think nothing of it. I will call upon you the next time my noble personage is threatened." It solemnly declared in return.

---

"...Alicia. He's not the overlord of the Duelling League. Jogurt is not. He never was. It was a hoax." Rufus said, with a too-straight face.

"...I...but...he said...and..." "Look on the bright side, that match would have been extremely painful." Rufus, still solemn, noted, as he walked down the corridor, back to his own room.

He almost managed to make it there before breaking down laughing.

Pretty good, all things considered.

Alicia still just blames Jogurt, so all things considered, at least her, er, innocence isn't damaged.

Seriously, though, this is the kind of girl that believes her boyfriend implicitly when he says he's a clone of a god. She's certainly trusting enough.
