Ness fell hard from godlike, but Ness isn't the type to let a failure like that get him down for long. He's dusted himself off and is ready to try again. Former middle champ Elena is good for what she is, but in terms of raw power, she's not a match for Ness - Ness is twice as tough, can heal for much longer, and can actually do some physical damage if all of his resources should run out. Elena can buy a bit of time with sleep and silence, but those only delay the inevitable, not stop it entirely. Grandia status wear off too quickly to clinch a match against someone as tough as Ness. Elena can only heal a few bat beatdowns to the brainpan, and then Ness will hit a home run. |

A former priestess of Granas and now a traveling songstress, Elena may not look like the type that could hold her own in an all-out brawl, but many opponents have learned to not underestimate her in the arena. Granted, while facing a child may soften her heart a fraction, her advantages over Ness are so large that no amount of pity will cost her the match. Ness’ big advantages are his cheap full healing, his variety of status, and his anti-physical techs. Elena’s big advantages are her complete status immunity and her own variety of accurate status. The accurate Shhh! alone will quickly limit Ness to solely his lackluster physical, leaving him bereft of both skillset and hope! |
