Season 6, Week 5
Altima
(Final Fantasy Tactics)

Once again, Altima will be relying on her fearsome status magic in this fight. However, she'll have to work quickly, as Shadow's damage and speed are nothing to be laughed at. Her first form may well go down before she can attack, due to its low HP, giving Shadow a free pot shot at her second. Her second form, however, will hopefully be durable enough to take a few hits and come back with status, or even a flat-out beatdown with All Ultima or physicals.

Shadow and his faithful hound, the aptly named Interceptor, have managed to show this heavy field what real ultimate power is. However, now he faces a somewhat more impressive challenger in the Arch Angel Altima. He's never been one to shirk from a challenge, though, and Altima has never been known for her longevity. With a steady supply of Falchions and his impressive speed, Shadow just has to play a game of hit and run in order to secure a heavy championship.

...Altima is a sad, sad final boss. Unfortunately for Shadow, she is still a final boss. And likewise unfortunately for him, Grand Cross is still very much effective on lone PCs. Shadow might get a good deal of damage from simply running away and throwing shurikens, but sooner or later, the Arch Angel will get a turn, and that'll be it. Votes

:Burn, FFT...BURN! Sadly, I feel I must vote for the ugly whore of an archangel. Ninjas, while quite badass in their own right, have no way to stand up to the power of an angel. Ever seen Yuffie try to take on Sephiroth alone? Yeah, I thought so too.
