Season 15, Week 3
Athos
(Fire Emblem: The Blazing Sword)

One down, three to go! The mighty Archsage is on a roll, ready to prove to the DL that even an old man can have a walk in the park some days. The razzled old man must now fight a Tarzan wannabe in his quest for the glory of a Heavy title. Wielding the power of the legendary spells Forblaze and Aureola, as well as mastery over all other magic in existance, Athos should have little trouble cutting the wild child down to size. Cheese and wine get better as they age; apparently, so do legendary sorcerers.

The highly eccentric yet very dangerous Gau re-proved his mettle in Heavy with a win over Max two weeks ago. Now the wild child faces down an overly formal old man this week... a perfect target for his incredibly annoying "Mr. Thou!" shtick. Or failing that, a Rage that absorbs all elemental magic... or one that imparts Auto-Reflect... or even just some good old-fashioned perfect-accuracy instant death; all ought to do the trick. Whichever wild tactic Gau opts for, you can bet it will mean this Heavy season will be down one Archsage by the end of the match.

Athos is the veteran of countless battles, and his magic was enough to deter even the might of the Dark Druid.

Gau's the veteran of every brawl, dirty fight, and wrestling match that's occured in the Veldt during his stage. Even so, an old man wielding giant elemental books is a new thing to to him. So he does what's natural, and leaps on Athos.

Two days after the match, Athos is nowhere to be found, and Gau can now use Luna..

Athos: 15
