Season 21, Week 2
Nergal
(Fire Emblem: The Blazing Sword)

Creator of Morphs, bringer of chaos, friend of Athos, teacher of Renault: Lord Nergal has many accomplishments to his name, but "slayer of a dragon" will be a worthy addition to that list. A darker druid than any before him, Nergal isn't accustomed to having people stand in his way - and not even last season's Middle champion will be wise to do so. After all, if Nergal summon dragons, why can't he destroy them as well? The dark might of Ereshkigal will tear the dragon to pieces, and not even Tiamat's deadly thunder will pierce the mighty druid's resistances. A simple battle this will be for the Dark Druid, a mere stepping stone on his continuous rise to power.

Having paid back the fools who dared rank the Queen of Dragons a Middle, Tiamat now sets her sights on a division worthy of her time. And her first victim, the druid Nergal, is a fitting one. After all, what is Nergal better known for than being far, far weaker than the Dragon in his own game? Sure, his Ereshkigal packs a respectable punch, but Tiamat's monstrous magical and elemental defences have seen her through tougher fights, and a doubled Thunder will likely prove more than the slow and fragile old man can handle. One thing is for certain, though: after this fight, Nergal's never, ever going to think about summoning a dragon again.

Nergal seemed to be in a daze as he watched the massive Tiamat tower before him.

"At last." Nergal laughed, his eyes glistening with madness. "A Dragon! I must have succeeded in opening the Dragon's Gate! What a magnificent beast you are. Yes! With your power, I shall soon reign supreme over the continent of Elibe, and eventually the entire world! Mwa-ha-ha-ha-ha!!! Now, come to me, my pet. Come to your master!"

In response, Tiamat leaned forward and bit Nergal's head off with a juicy slurp.

Blood shot up from the dead Dark Druid's severed neck in a bright-red geyser. The body continued to stand for a few minutes, its arms still waving in the air as if it was confused, until it finally crumpled to the floor.

Tiamat carefully masticated Nergal's head between her teeth and then swallowed. "Hmm..." she said. "Needed salt."

Tiamat: 50

Well, unfortunatly Nergal was weaker then the Dragon in his own game, but that was that Dragon, and Tiamat doesn't seem to hold that kind of power. The match would be reletively even except for one factor about Nergal's morphs, he can give them whatever weapon he chooses, including Dragon slaying ones. So he quickly summons several morphs, adding to the collection as time goes by, normally they would never pierce Tiamat's tough scales, but their dragon-slaying weapons prove effective, eventually laying the mighty dragon to rest.
