This match seems even - Izlude's powerful swordsmanship against Raquel's. What Izlude lacks in raw power and durability, he makes up for in his own, far superior, speed, and what he lacks in evasion, he makes up for with Concentrate, which allows him to negate Raquel's dodge. Unfortunately for Raquel, however, Izlude has one major advantage. Raquel's flashing blade can't do much when it's shattered. With one successful Weapon Break, Raquel is left to fall back on abilities that don't require her sword. And if Relm can't paint her way out of Light, Raquel certainly isn't winning in Heavy with her brushes.

While the DL has been threaded by a multitude of Filgaian Drifters so far, none of them is comparable to Raquel - and her victory over Georg was just the start of the path she will carve through Heavy. Her next foe is much like the previous, a notable fighter in his own right. However, Izlude lacks Georg's talent for killing blows, and will fare no better. His swordstrikes will fail to inflict much harm on Raquel, while her answering cleaves will rave through Izlude with grace and precision. And, as always, once Intrude enters the picture... her motions will be without end. As will her victories.

Izlude, being a dragoon, has the ability to jump high into the air and crash down on his opponent's head to inflict massive damage. Sometimes a sharp pointy weapon is added to the equation to do even more damage. There is no denying that this ability makes him a total badass, but if there is one thing that Final Fantasy Tactics dragoons can't stand, it's movement. If an opponent moves out of the way before their jump technique is complete, they strike nothing but dead air.
Guess what Raquel can do during battle. Go on, guess.
The fight between Izlude and Raquel was as predictable as everyone expected. When Izlude leapt into the air for his "Death from Above" move, Raquel did the smartest thing she could think of: She moved out of the way. With his best move thusly ineffective, Izlude had no way to protect himself from the horrific beatdown which followed.
