With a bestial battle cry that would do the legendary George of the Jungle proud, the wildboy from the Veldt returns to heat up the DL with his amazing, if unorthodox, fighting style once again. And it seems the first victim of Gau's Rage is just the kind of opponent he likes; arrogant, evil and utterly lacking any way to get past the insane amount of options Gau can bring to bear on him. While Margulis's Stop status may scare many PCs, Gau isn't afraid of it in the least. He just has to go into one of his many status-resistant Rages like Io, the completely status immune Magic Urn, or even the ever fearsome Nightshade with it's Boss effecting Charm spell, and the fight is as good as over. And when you consider that Margulis has to charge for four turns to reach his fatal status while Gau only needs two, well, things get even more lopsided in the Wild Boy's favor. |

UUUUZUUKI!! is the war cry of Commander Margulis, but sadly he doesn’t get to fight his cowardly comrade in battle this time. Instead, his opponent is a wild animal-like child. Uncivilized little brat! While not the most technological character himself (sure, he has a giant mech… with a sword equipped), he is at least better than some kid who can’t even speak the language of normal humans… really, this type of riffraff isn’t what he expected from the Heavy division. But regardless, he will use the same strategy as he’d use against his other foes; using Fire Ether damage and physicals to attack or use the Seal of Immobility to… well, immobilize his opponent. The former may be a better idea considering the tricksy Gau, but either way Margulis is a powerhouse compared to the little devil, and he will lord his superiority over the whelp by beating him here. |
SageAcrin Margulis. Skilled veteran swordfighter, proud, capable, intelligent, able to withstand any force. But Gau. For, you see, Gau has the power of Charm on his side. "...Isn't it just supposed to confuse them?" A puzzled Chaz asked. "Well, maybe he was, ah, already 'confused' to start with." Deis noted. "...So has he won yet?" Chaz asked. "I was going out to lunch with Rika..." "Oh, you can go ahead and go. I want to see this." Deis said, grinning. "...I am...just going to leave now." Chaz said, putting his words into action, as he fled rapidly towards an exit. "...I didn't mean it like that!" Deis yelled after him. "....though..." She added thoughtfully. Gau: 55 |
