Freyjadour's small yet stalwart guardian fears nothing! Having defended her liege from all kinds of perils, from assassins to even incarnations of True Runes, Lyon is ready to come out on top of any challenge that may face her, in the arena or outside of it. Even a lord of the heavens, a monstrous dragon capable of instilling fear on other timeless beasts, will double-take against the Twilight Rune's bearer once she flexes the arcane might she holds. With multiple tools to disable Rayquaza - from the death-instilling glow of Setting Sun to the sheer brutality of Vermillion Sky - victory is all but guaranteed. Even if the dragon's powerful offense is frightening and deadly, the bodyguard has the resolve and the strength to see this through. No creature from any land shall keep little Lyon from fulfilling her duty, no matter how big and dangerous it may be! |

To face off against a pseudo-True Rune with some chance of success, one must be strong, powerful and possibly somewhat divine! Well, Rayquaza's one of its kind, lives in space and breathes off scientifically impossible methods, and is about as long as a freight train, not to mention can get Kyogre and Groudon to get themselves in line with only a roar, so he probably fits those requirements well enough. So what can he do against the Queen's Knight? Strike her hard and fast, hopefully taking her down before she can do the same. Dragon Dance, Hyper Beam, Outrage, you name it; Rayquaza's got the offense needed to win. Furthermore, while his opponent often runs off good speed, such is not necessarily an advantage here, as Rayquaza himself is swift. The Atmopsheric Dragon hasn't wavered in competition yet, and he's ready for the finals! |
SageAcrin A powerful rune embodying the power of the setting sun. Rayquaza. A being that lives in a world with no setting sun for some reason. Oh, sure, other Pokemon areas may have night and day, but not his. ... Say, have you ever read that story Nightfall? Rayquaza ultimately did do a huge amount of damage when the arena suddenly fell into night, but in his frenzy, not a lot of it was to Lyon, and he was out of the ring pretty fast, overall. The initial reaction was psychiatric therapy, but screw that, someone will just fetchquest him a potion to fix this. Too much effort for anything else. Lyon: 20 |
