This match, as it is with many of Cecilia's matches, will be decided in the first strike. In that opening blow, Auron will either kill the young magess... or she will survive. If she does live, then she has her choice. She can heal herself, using her doubleturns to employ stackable buffing spells until she possesses such a horrific stat advantage over Auron that the elder guardian will be completely outclassed, or she can go for a quick kill with Prison spell which is effectively instant death. Either way, this is an easy win for the tomboy princess.

"You place too much trust in your magicks!" If journeyman pure fighter Auron is to defeat the masterful magess of Adelhyde this week, he's going to have to do it with a single blow. A one-hit-kill is out of the question for Auron, whose Masamune is deadly only when his own HP gets low, but with his Magic Break skill, he can still cut his opponent's effectiveness clean in half! And with the Masamune's First Strike ability, Auron is guaranteed to get in that first hit before Cecilia can say anything about it. From there on, if he can survive Cecilia's assault, he's home free, since all the healing in the world won't save the Filgaian princess from Auron's deadly finisher, Shooting Star.

This is a pretty sad tale for Auron, but it must be told, of how a mage wins a match with a physical. Auron's First Strike hits hard, but it isn't enough to fell the Adlehyde Princess. She then casts Prison, and next, for the finishing blow, she uses her physical to shatter the Prison. Auron, you poor poor man.
Cecilia Lyne Adelhyde: 22
Auron: 9

Remember how Cecelia had her hair cut in order to be inconspicuous when she went off adventuring? Well, she's in due for a trimming, and Auron is more than happy to volunteer.
Of course, his definition of "a little off the top" may be a bit too much for Cecelia's liking.

To me Magic Break will stop prison from working so I'm giving it to him... as prison isn't in FFX it's hard to say really.
