In an odd twist of fate, the guardian of a summoner finds herself tasked with defeating one in the arena this week. As with most of Rydia's battles, this will be won or lost on the first turn. Fortunately, she can depend on acting first against the sluggish Lulu and she's fully prepared to make that one shot count. Any of her status spells should put the black mage down for the count, be it through petrification, Stop, or just good old instant death. Breaking through Lu's magic defense will be a test of luck, but it certainly wouldn't be the first time Rydia's dodged disaster. |

Lulu may be a successor of sorts to Rydia, a black mage with excellent damage output and a terrible HP score, but as so often happens the new generations have learned much and improved upon the old. In this case, Lulu has defensive scores Rydia could only dream of, including spectactular magic defense. As such, the sluggish Lulu will have a good deal of confidence going into this match, as she should be able to weather any spells - whether they be summons or status - Rydia can muster, before felling the young summoner with a pair of Flares. |
Kanos Lulu is basically Rydia plus insanely good defense. Rydia: 15 |
