The giant ruler of the Vanir and Jotunheim is on a roll through Heavy, hoping to earn a championship, and possibly an upgrade into the vaunted halls of Godlike. Now that he's beat Vyse, Surt now faces the much punier Kyra. With Might Reinforce to enhance his already powerful Flare Strike, Surt can easily burn Kyra to a crisp with a single attack, rendering her impressive healing completely useless. An easy win for a being who can hold his own with the best of the Aesir. |

Kyra may have proved she can win in Heavy after roasting Sgt. Joe, but she's still far from proving her mettle. Her newest opponent, the almighty Vanir emperor Surt, though, might be her best opportunity for that. His powerful fire slashes won't be as mighty after a Warla, and Telele should weaken them even more. After that, she just has to keep attacking and healing until Surt finally gives in. The flames of Nifelheim have nothing on the spunk and grace of this sweet little Esper! |

Surt has a powerful physical technique, in Flare Strike. Kyra has powerful healing. Surt's powerful technique can be used forever. Kyra's healing....cannot. Surt's used to being in a palace. Which, presumably, is of normal temperature. Kyra's used to wearing scanty clothes in the cold. Conclusion: Kyra either runs out of healing or just gets heatstroke from the first attack.
