Luca Blight
(Suikoden II) 		 
After a searing win over Gau last week, Luca's ready to keep his reputation as a prince of slaughter intact, via mauling Rosa. As usual, Luca brings a powerful mix of Fire attacks, and his fearsome Tri-slash. His legendary durability not withstanding, Luca also has the advantage in speed and turns, making this seem like a easy win for him.

 Few fighters in Heavy are less like Luca Blight, the terrifying and incredibly violent Prince of Highland, than White Wizard Rosa. The demure party healer has stared down even greater evil than Blight before, though, and she's not likely to blanch now. Though obviously lacking the ability to defeat Luca in a pure trading of blows, that doesn't mean she's out of options. Her positive status spells like Haste, Protect, Shell, and maybe even Blink will be of great value here, though, as will her inexpensive full healing in Cure 3. She'll need to set all her barriers, then settle in for a very long battle against Luca, who's as tough a man as any to put down. With Rosa's massive MP, though, she has a definite shot at this... it's just a matter of time.

Luca Blight, madman of the highlands, prince of slaughter, and all around badass, wasn't coming into this match screaming and talking about pigs. He has a calm smile on his face, and his gleaming armor was quite becoming of him.

Walking over to the queen, Luca bowed, and taking her hand, kissed it. "My lady, it is truly my pleasure to engage you in battle on this fine day."

Rosa, to her surprise, giggled. The prince's efforts to charm her seemed to have worked on the normally defensive white mage.

Saluting the queen, Luca drew his sword, and dropped into a fighting stance... right as Rosa dropped to the floor, out cold.

Luca's brutal grin returned. He made a note to thank Jowy for giving him the idea for a "Sand Ruby Kiss.."

Well I am guessing Rosa is going to lose to Luca, but here is how I see the match going.

Luca will start of doing some sort of damage to Rosa, Rosa will use haste... I forget if FF4 haste works right away, but if not Luca will go again... this will bring Rosa to very low life but I do not see him 2HKOing her even if he does go. Rosa will heal herself, follow that with protect, and that with shell... after this she will only need healing every 4 rounds or so and then she can break out the damage spells.

As fights never lasted long for me in FF4 I can see Rosa losing in only one way. If Luca can somehow run her out of MP which I doubt or if haste, shell, and protect run out during a fight in which case she may just run out of MP due to much recasting.
