Volk enters the arena to prove one thing: That Deimos are completely superior to humans. He won't stop until all the world acknowledges that fact. Luckily, his first opponent poses little threat. Isaac stands defenseless against Volk's raging water and wind spells, debilitating paralysis, sleep, silence, and attack, defense and speed reduction, and his powerful claws and stat boosts, while Volk's charms protect him from Isaac's damage. Poor human... standing in the way of the mighty Lupine Clan! |

Isaac isn't great with animals, nor is he good with words, so Garet's first idea of making Volk sit and beg for a treat and then slicing his head off won't exactly be too effective here. Nonetheless, Isaac isn't without other (more intelligent) options: Ragnarok will grind Volk into the ground in a timely fashion, Potent Cure will prove Volk's weak water magics to be effective for little more than a bath, and, finally, with Ground to paralyze and Vine to slow the wolf berserker down, Isaac can easily tame this wild dog. |
Dhyerwolf Volk had been working himself in a rage all day. He was finally looking forward to taking revenge on all humans. They had killed his precious wife and children! Never mind that they had been on human turf in a very stupid move! Irrelevant! Well, Volk eventually got himself so angry that he became rabid. He never showed up at the battle because he was too busy frothing at the mouth and chasing squirrels. Isaac won by default. Unsurprisingly, he had no comment. Volk: 18 |
