Two exceedingly annoying heroes fighting it out in the arena. What could be more fun? One hero beating the other into the ground with the speed of an F-16, That's what. Tidus may not be the most inspiring of heroes, but its hard to argue that the bastard's anything but fast. Tidus' Sonic Steel gives him initiative, and then some Haste, Slow, and Quick Hit action will see him pull off a dozen hits to Kharg's single actions. With a healthy dose of Tidus' defending to survive any potential airship bombardments, he is set up to do what he does best to his half-human justice-obsessed foe: Blitz him into the ground hard.

With that foul half-elf bested, Kharg has proved the true power that lies ready in his blood. Well, also the power that lies in his gigantic airship! A half-Deimos hybrid, Kharg is both a master of the magical and physical arts. His wind magic will ignore Tidus’ famed evade and counter technique, while Kharg’s healing will wash away his sword strikes. The half-deimos even has the foot speed to keep up with lightning-quick Tidus. Of course, Kharg may just choose to summon his airship Big Owl to blast away the blitzballer with a blow so powerful that Godlikes fear it. Kharg will not stand to lose to some cocky full-human.

The majestic(?) Big Owl.
Combining both airship and dangerous weapon, it was Kharg's trump card in any match. Perhaps calls of interference might be made, but certainly, it was better than losing, wasn't it?
Perhaps not.

Maru was proud.
Kharg had told him to get the Big Owl ready for this match, that he might need it.
Maru, using conventional wisdom, decided to go out and get a bigger gun as well.
And so, Kharg successfully disintegrated himself.
You see, Moon Stone Cannons aren't known for being especially good at avoiding friendly fire.
Still, ultimately, since Tidus was distintegrated as well-along with a fair deal of the arena, Maru's pretty happy with the results, and has determined that he won't speak to Kharg until Kharg accepts that it's his fault for not aiming well.
Considering that a refreshing breeze blew together Tidus and Kharg's ashes, it may be a while before it matters, anyways.
Tidus: 34
Kharg: 20
