Articuno was long overdue for another try in the Duelling League's Heavy arena, but the wait was certainly worthwhile. The Icy Death Bird flies back into the fields to meet the master samurai Tosh, a brave warrior with truly amazing swordsmanship and quite a neat bevy of tricks to terrify his opponents with... however, he is terribly magically frail, and he has a weakness to ice-elemental attacks to boot, alongside not being very fast in spite of his elegantly swift sword strikes. As such, Articuno has a very easy fight in front of him: a single strike from his icy powers will destroy Tosh with reckless abandon, and, with the bird having a notable speed edge, there's nothing the samurai can do. The Legendary Ice Bird won't even break a sweat this time! Maybe better challenges will come next week... |

Ouch! Another difficult match for the samurai-esque sword-wielder Tosh. This week, he faces a... flying, ice-wielding bird of some fame, named Articuno? Despite the bizarreness of the situation, Articuno’s ice magic is the precise type of damage that Tosh fears; however, the indomitable spirit that gave Tosh the ability to defeat the hordes of evil and the Dark One will surely help him come out victorious in this match! Should Tosh be able to get his turn, his dreaded Monji Slash will ruin Articuno’s stats, making him no more threatening than a common pigeon. If that isn’t enough, Jubakuken’s paralysis can stop Articuno in mid-squawk, ending any and all challenge right then. It may not be an easy match, but Tosh will not quit until he is victorious here, regardless of the power of his opponent! |
