For a two time Middle champion, Arnaud didn't put up nearly as much of a fight as Maya expected. Saki Inugami, however, plays a much different game from Arnaud's technical style. While she's got options, her primary mode is brutal physical beatdowns, ones even a hardened drifter like Maya can't stand up to for too long. That means the head of the Schroedinger gang will be leaning heavily on the raw firepower of Calamity Jane in this fight. Sure, Saki's got Energy Charge, but even that sort of power doesn't quite pack the punch of a blazing gatling gun. Maya may well have to pull this win out from under her dress, but since when has she won matches any other way? |

Heavy’s Harmonixer is on the prowl, and no man, woman, child, or even monster will be able to keep her from the championship. The gem-obsessed Maya has quite a variety of tricks in her bag, stemming from her ability to change into many forms by the power of reading, but none of those forms can match the dreaded power of Saki’s Kouneki fusion. Calamity Jane is a strong attack, but it pales in comparison to an Energy Charged physical. Energy Charge’s temporary speed boost makes Saki’s buffing combo even more dangerous, and unlike her opponent, Saki can use it without needing to take damage, giving her the ability to control the pace of the battle. |
Dhyerwolf "Say boy, what do you have there?" "Oh this thing, old man? Wouldn't you like to know?" The old man held up his winesack, and the two men traded the items. "Saki's diary? What are you going to do with this, Yuri?" Gepetto asked. The Godlike only answered with a grin. --- "Oh my god, I'm naked! They can all see my Schroedinger jewels!" Maya screamed in fear. Maybe she should have found it suspicious when Saki's diary magically appear on her doorstep right before the match, but Maya read it hoping to gain some important insight. Sadly for Maya, all it did was transform her into Saki's Kouneki form in front of the entire RPGDL, and she wasn't quite ready to be that exposed. It would have been quite an even match if Maya's hysteria didn't give Saki an easily opening to pound her into the ground. Somewhere in the back of the arena, Yuri and Gepetto barreled over with laughter. Maya really should be more careful about what she reads. Maya Schroedinger: 17 |
