Turn it up! Turn my headphones up! Yosuke really needs some kickin' tunes now that he's in the DL arena. The hapless teen is up against something you don't see too much of in Inaba - a bully. Not that Tony is a particularly competent bully. In fact, he might have been stuffed into garbage cans more than the people he tried to bully. He's still decent in the arena, but let's face it, Yosuke is better. A diversified skillset with magic, physicals, healing, and even an evade buff gives him all the options he needs. The music pulsing through his headphones will make sure he never misses a beat in the fight and keep his mind clear to use his moves in the right order. Michael Jackson he ain't, but Yosuke will be burning up the arena floor as he dances his way to the next round.

There couldn't be a more perfect opening match for Tony Eisler. Yosuke's steady, speedy damage dealing plays right into the Al-Revis bully's limit-based style, he's in the perfect age group to be most susceptible to his bullying psychological attacks, and he even fancies himself something of a hero; perfect for the budding supervillain from Al Revis academy. Yosuke's equipment trickery will let him put some hurt on the scythe-wielding student, to be sure, but the young Persona user has no real defense against the straightforward physical beatdowns that Tony's Path of Evil lets him inflict. It's an open and shut case, but that's just fine; a complicated match would be wasted on the idiots around here, and Tony really doesn't want to spend the rest of his week telling Renee to shut up.
Gatewalker Chie buried her head in her hands, "Okay, let me get this straight. Your opponent got in your face in the locker room, beat you up for your lunch money, gave you a swirlie and then stuffed you in a locker?"
Yosuke grumbled but nodded, "...yeah."
Chie shook her head in disgust, "How did you let this happen?"
"Look, it's not like I didn't try to fight back, okay? He just overpowered me."
Naoto could only shrug and sigh, "Well, if he beat you there I guess we know how things would have gone in the match."
"That's what pisses me off, dammit!" Yosuke slammed his fist on the table, "I know I could have taken him in the arena! I know it!"
Naoto and Chie kept silent, just flatly staring at their teammate.
"W...what?"
Naoto broke the silence, "You did remember that we can use our Persona everywhere here, right? Not just in the arena or the TV World?"
All the color and dignity drained right away from Yosuke as she asked that simple question, and he answered by way of planting his face on the table and groaning.
Chie stared a moment longer before getting up and just storming off, "I hate you SO much sometimes..."
