Well, this isn't the most exciting fight. Garai, expert swordsman, bitterly fueled by the seething rage of being killed by a friend and forced to exist as an undead even in the realm of the Duelling League, slices a squishy mage really really hard and turns him into floor paint. None of Rune's magical skills will get to see play here as he is dismembered before he can finish waving his hands or whatever. Even without the pretty spellwork or the promise of a heated battle, though, this match will still provide quite a spectacle - Rune's blood will spray in quite some new and interesting directions.

Sarcastic Esper and successor to Lutz, Rune Walsh hasn't enjoyed the success in Heavy one would expect for a mage prodigy such as him, especially as his fellow comrades have one by one risen to Godlike. No matter; this week will be different. Garai is a fairly simple fellow, and although his weakness to Dark attacks is one of the few elemental susceptibilities Rune can not exploit, the great Walsh is still looking good in this fight. With his dual shields to protect himself and powerful blasts of Legeon to terrify this spectral swordsman, Rune shall easily advance to a more challenging match next round. Hopefully bereft of Justin.
