Although there are many female competitors in the Duelling League, few are as pure and sweet as Princess Toadstool while simultaneously being such a terror in the Arena. With solid defenses to both weapons and magic, full healing, powerful smiting capabilities in her Frying Pan, and good speed despite her seemingly cumbersome dress, the Princess is one royally tough nut to crack. Against a foe with the power to drain her Flower Points, however, Toadstool will want to go straight for Sleepy Time and send Freya into a deep slumber. After that, it won't take more than a few well-aimed Psych Bombs to blow the sleeping rat into oblivion. Flower power! |

Freya Crescent faces a royal opponent in her first match in the RPGDL this week, hoping to bring honour to Burmecia with an opening win. That win, however, will be reliant in large part upon the the rat-Dragoon's capability of outlasting the Princess' healing. Fortunately, Reis' Wind will help keep Freya in good condition, while Lancer and White Draw will quickly eliminate Toadstool's FP. As soon as that's gone, Freya'll be a hop, skip, and Jump away from victory. After that, naught remains but the after-fight parties and a lot of Riverdancing... |

I have to be captured by Bowser at 3, rescued by Mario by 6, then there's that dress-fitting that I've been putting off for a while... where am I going to find the time to compete?" "Your Majesty wouldn't need a dress-fitting if she would quit eating all those donuts between tennis matches," the loyal retainer Toad said under his breath as he walked to the throne. "Did you say something, Toad?" murmured Peach, reaching ominously for her frying pan. "N-no, your Majesty. I mean, yes your Majesty. Er, I mean... please don't hurt me."
