Season 13, Week 1
Vincent Valentine
(Final Fantasy VII)

By Heavy standards, Vincent Valentine might seem unimpressive. Mediocre stats, lack of any variety or damage... then he gets his Limit, and all hell breaks loose. Luckily for the ex-Turk, his first opponent has no method to reliably get past Vincent's limit range (and the full healing that follows his transformation). Whether Vincent opts for Death Gigas' insanely high HP and impressive magic damage in Livewire or Hellmasker's brutal multi-status attack, he has a good chance to show his critics that first impressions can be deceiving.

He's rash and somewhat irresponsible, but there's no finer warrior in the Lycian League than Hector of Ostia. He'll be seeking to show that battle prowess this week in his opening match against Vincent Valentine. Facing a limit fighter, Hector will be wanting to set aside his Armads for a Killer Axe, trying to shoot past Vincent's healing limits with his criticals. It's highly unlikely that the ex-Turk will be able to break Hector's offense if he never gets a limit, granting the Lycian Lord an easy first victory.

The Axeman
Hector and Vincent traded blows for some time, Vincent's gun failing to put much of a dent in Hector's strong Ostian armor. Eventually, Vincent could take no more, and he pulled away from their conflict.

To his amazement, Hector looked on as a change came over Vincent. He grew a few feet in size, his body being laced with muscles, and his skin turning into a sickly white. Gone was Vincent. In his place stood a hideous nightmare creature, ready to dispatch of the headstrong young lord.

Hector hit it in the face with his axe really hard.

MORAL OF THE STORY: Powerful transformations are one way to get ahead in life, but it's hard to argue with an axe to the face.

Vincent Valentine: 19
Hector: 32

Broc
Vincent, though he has hordes of fangirls at his beck and call, carries a mere gun and quite simply cannot put up with being hit over and over again with an oversized axe, limit break or no limit break.
May Hector continue to reign supreme until someone more worthy comes to challenge him.

Vincent sees Aeris before the fight to pump up his limit and soon as the fight starts transforms into Chaos and instantly kills Hector.

hooah
If Hector can get a critical, he can probably kill Vincent in one hit.

Might even kill Vincent's limit form.
