Twenty-two seasons have passed, and for those long years Noah has had to watch Rune, his last descendant, get all the respect. Now, it's time for the original Esper to show the DL that the wait was well worth it. Noah will be facing off against Tidus, the quick-hitting nightmare. Fortunately, Tidus isn't exactly known for his magical resilience, so the power of Wind should easily end this match before it even begins. Not even Tidus's Caladbolg will avail him, as Noah is far more capable of taking a physical hit than his descendants. With such a simple opening match, Noah will be well on his way to taking for himself the glory that his Esper heirs have usurped.

Three cheers for the superstar! It's been too long since Tidus last entered the arena, and the blond blitzballer is aiming for a championship! The first pebble in his way is pathetic indeed - Noah, the first Esper Guardian of Algol, isn't durable enough to stand up to some sword strikes, powerful enough to kill Tidus before he gets going, or fast enough to stop Tidus' hellish series of Quick Hits - even considering Tidus takes magic damage like a sick baby. A Sonic Steel in the hand ensures Tidus a first strike, and from there, the match is his. Tidus has everything in hand to prove that, sense be damned, sport stars are better fighters than galactic guardians!
