Percival is sweating bullets, but he's got a clear shot at this match, albeit a miniscule one. If he can bring himself around to casting Silent Lake before the less-than-speedy Ryu can bust out G. Dragon, he can reduce his opponent to a pure physical game, where Percy'll have the slight edge, from his armor. It all comes down to that one spell, and whether or not he can complete it.

Ryu II isn't your average happy go lucky Ryu. He only has one attack that's useful, and he can only use it once. However, G. Dragon.. kills things, especially PC's. It's the perfect counter for high defense PC's who can heal... like Percival...

No Silent Lake: Ryu uses G. Dragon, which obliterates just about Any PC, game set match.
Silent Lake Goes off: Percival has this cause...wait, no, Ryu still has a 2nd move up his sleeve. Guts will let Ryu live quite a bit, and eventually, win by shear counter attacks. Gotta love that infinite Healing, even if a bit unreliable.
And see how long it tends to take someone with a not so good Water Ranking (I think he had B...) using a Water Rune to Cast Silent Lake...I think situation A, no Silent Lake, applies. For being a shoddy Ryu, Ryu2 still isn't fun to fight, even after G. Dragon.
