Season 30, Week 2
Emelia
(SaGa Frontier)

Gunslinger. The term conjures images of grizzled warriors from the Wild West, not pretty models with a desire for revenge. Emelia doesn't fit those standards in the least. She's not just a pretty face or a one-note character. She wants to find revenge against the person who killed her fiance, but she's not going to sit around and not enjoy life. She embraces everything. From the heartache to the inane, she enjoys it all. That'll be a useful trait against a total blowhard like Vigoro, who relies on his (pathetic) attempts at Charm to win battles against women. As his last showing against Choko shows, it sure as hell isn't effective on the League's women. Emelia cares for neither Vigoro's charm nor his abilities. All she wants to do is put a bullet in his face and claim a win after her - frankly - embarassing showing in her debut match. With the finely honed skills and stats of a gunner, she's well positioned for this. With a large speed advantage and excellent damage, she can blow Vigoro away with full clip after full clip of gunfire.

Hey, babies! The original air pirate who stole your heart is back, fresh from a downgrade to Heavy, but still ready and willing to charm every lady who gives him the chance! While Emelia might not have the lovely, intriguing, mysterious, perky, spunky handlebar hair Vigoro loves so much (completely ignoring the fact that she's married), that's just because she hasn't been witness to Vigoro's special charm - so now it's time! With a little "Hey Baby," Vigoro'll be laying on the sugar hardcore, and there's no woman who can resist Vigoro's charm once it's layered on in heavy doses. Of course, considering the game Emelia hails from, it's quite possible she might have other "preferences" than a big, strong, sexy man like Vigoro. In that unfortunate instance, it'll be Emelia's little tiny pistol against Vigoro's giant cannon, which can't possibly end up good for the young lady. Though it'll be a shame to down such a beauty as Emelia, if she can resist Vigoro's Charm, then she can't possibly be a real woman...can she?

Monkeyfinger
Not wanting to actually fight Emelia on foot for a second time after eating a hail of her bullets on Chisato's show, Vigoro decided to try something different. The SaGa Frontier world relies heavily on its sky cabs, and one of those couldn't be a match for the great airship Draco and its massive cannon, right? Vigoro would just wait for Emelia to get on one and shoot it down.

Unfortunately for both Emelia and Vigoro, Tanzer happened to be down for a snack at the time Vigoro decided to try it.

Unfortunately for Tanzer, it had never actually swallowed an airship with a massive cannon capable of decimating fleets before.

So, while Emelia did the whole "get out on foot and search for a way out" thing for the second time in her life, Vigoro simply blasted his way out of the big creature, then shot it unconscious once he had made his escape.

End result? Emelia didn't get out in time, Vigoro won his match by default, and Tanzer woke up days later with one hell of a headache and a stomachache.

Emelia: 27
Vigoro: 41
