Hahn Mahlay

The gentle-mannered scholar from Mile is building up quite a dueling resume in the arena this time around, it seems. After a Middle championship and a rightful upgrade to Heavy, Hahn Mahlay is heading for his second Heavy match! And this will be quite the interesting match: Rose, the mighty Dark Dragon, once a Godlike, now raises her rapier to fight against a simple researcher, in quite a fall from grace for her. The saddest part is that Hahn may put Rose down even further: while his Eliminate and Vol spells aren't an option against Rose, unlike all his previous fights in the arena, his Psy Shield and debuff spells should still put quite a damper into Rose's assault, and he can handle her damage with healing and take the offensive upper hand with his Astral skill. This may not be the easiest fight Hahn had to face, but, with his resourceful wisdom, he should manage just fine.

 Rose now faces the victorious champion of last season's Middle, an unexpected event. Of course, over ten thousand years of experience means Rose will have little trouble adapting to this new development and react accordingly. In this case, however, the challenge at hand will require no feats of heroics, as Rose's traditional battle techniques are more than sufficient to handle Hahn. His Vol spell, bane of middle and all his defeated opponents, is neatly deflected by Rose's hair band, which stops all manner of instant death. Meanwhile, the perennial student's sluggishness leaves him easy pray to Rose's own Dimension Gate, because nothing in his arsenal can take her down before she can build up to the famed Dragoon state and employ it against him. Hahn had a good run, but it's time for the older and wiser warriors to excel and prove the worth of experience in battle.

Both fighters utilize a skill that causes death in the person targeted, without hesitation.

Rose possesses an item allowing her to guard against the mystical magics capable of stealing life straight from the bones, thus protecting her against her own ability if needed.

Hahn does not.

However, being a learned man, and Rose being a wise woman with many years behind her, the two came to an agreeable conclusion.

"Put me out of my misery, Rose! Please! I beg of you and your good nature! Help me!"

Apparently Alys wedgies are far more brutal than a lot of things out there. Rose understood, thanks to fanservice clothing, and had no problems issuing the merciful end for Hahn.

Alys is just angry that Hahn's managed to get up to her level in the DL, the little dweeb.

Joou Ranbu
As usual when it comes to reffing a match between instant-death whores, the judges were bored. Having two people just cast spells that make the people fall down immediately isn't very amusing, y'see. Thus, Opera, Deis and Margarete decided to hold a Brazilian Bikini contest between Rose and Hahn.

Which was going very well for Hahn (who'd think his scrawny scholar body would fit a bikini so well?) until people realized that -he- was the guy and -Rose- was the girl. This led all the voters to flee in disgust and sadness, and to a few burned Shining Force fodder shacks.

Since no votes were available, the ladies just gave Rose the victory by default on virtue of her being a woman. This, however, didn't stop them from feeling dirty.

On unrelated news, Hahn is now scheduled for a sexy pin-up photoshoot for the "Albelicious" magazine. He'll be on the cover in a couple of months or so.
