Season 45, Week 2
Bruiser Khang
(Tales of Destiny)

The internet may like Ike, but Bruiser Khang, great arena champion, is the true champion of the masses! With rippling muscles, unending charisma and the fighting spirit of a true hero, the powerful fistfighter is ready to go ballistic in the arena once again to fight Brawl phenomenon Ike! Surely, this will be a show for the ages, with sparkling Aether strikes and earth-shattering punches. However, Bruiser has a key advantage in this fight: his trademark Ballistic is not only brutally damaging, but it's multi-target, avoiding Ike's counters, and ignores evade, forcing Ike to take the brunt of its strength. And not even a durable warrior such as him can take two Ballistics and stand up. The Mighty Kongman will enter the fray with a smile, certain of victory!

Once more finding new lands and blazing a trail for his men and others, Ike bursts into the DL, breaking the old ranking freeze. And he'll show just what a bit of new blood can do! For starters, he'll show just how he changes the game by facing a supposed FE slayer in Bruiser Khang. For his foe's supposedly ranged attack, Ragnell's reach provides an easy answer. For the power of Ballistic, there's Ike own great durability to allow him to endure. And for the power to kill, Ike comes armed not just with the traditional Fire Emblem critical, but also the power of Aether, either one of which triggering will give him a win, and his first steps to a debut championship! After all, the leader of the Greil Mercenaries has quite a reputation to live up to.

"So someone wanna explain to me why Bruiser actually agreed to take on Ike in a battle of Brawl?" remarked Lambda.

"It was easier than deciding the outcome of the fight through shear force, I guess?" replied Rolf.

"Kyogre! Ky! Ky-ky-kyogre!"

"Yes, that's what I find weird. Ike actually having been in the game holds an unnatural advantage, and one can only wonder why Bruiser chose Captain Falcon...well, no, I know why." Lambda said.

At this point, on the screen, Ike wielding a Golden Hammer could be seen knocking Captain Falcon off the edge of Luigi's Mansion.

"Well, if nothing else, at least they didn't play tournament rules, so the fight was at least kind of fun to watch, right?" Rolf said.

"Kyogre..."
