Season 48, Week 1
Moltres
(Pokémon Series)

Leaving a blazing trail in the skies, Moltres once again joins the fray in the Heavy arena, ready to prove its smoldering might! The bland vampire Keith Valentine will certainly feel the conflagration on his frail, pale vampire skin as soon as he enters the arena, and that burning sensation won't soon leave: Fire Spin spam will keep the vampire locked up for as long as Moltres needs, and as soon as the bird gets an opening, a finishing Fire Blast will entirely negate the threat of Keith's Deathblade Jiru. This should be a nice start for Moltres' domination in Heavy!

While master Valentine may never before have seen any bird quite like Moltres, coming from the world of Shadow Hearts, he certainly knows how to best put down anything that could be considered an abomination, which would certainly include an animal that appears to be constantly consuming itself in flames! A few swipes of Deathblade Jiru should put the unevasive bird down for a long sleep, and Keith's own excellent HP will ensure that any flames that Moltres tries to shoot his way won't be able to stop the one inevitably deadly swing of the vampire's rapier.

Such a boring match.

Keith instantly kills flying bird.

Flying bird promptly falls on him, breaking Keith's collar bone and spine.

Nothing healers can't fix, of course.

Though the fact that Keith burst into flames right after adds insult to injury. Also more injury.

Then there's the fact that Moltres had spent ages burning Keith slowly to death in a fire tornado right before that.

And then there's the fact that Moltres' beak ended up in Keith's eye, pierced through to his brain, and, until the healers managed to work it out, caused him to lose all abilities in mathmatics.

But otherwise, pretty boring.

Sometimes, everyone wins.

Except the losers in the ring of course.
