Maria already has a wealth of experience dealing with puffed up martial artists what with putting up with Cliff all these years. The blue haired gunwoman thus knows exactly how to deal with guys like these - make them all confuzzled with her confusion status. And with her handy Aiming Device, she has just the tool for that. With SO3's deadly chaos, she'll have Sabin wandering around aimlessly while she whittles down his HP at her leisure. Alternately she could be merciful and dispatch Sabin with her deadly Energy Burst, as its paralysis pins Sabin in place, unable to act. Either way, Maria already has this battle under her belt, before her little martial artist friend has even had the chance to understand it yet. |

In his way, Sabin bucks a lot of the stereotypes surrounding his character class. He's not particularly into fighting, he hasn't rejected the material world, and he doesn't really fear technology even. Nope, he's just a simple goofball willing to do anything if he think's it'll help his brother. So this match against Maria is really an interesting opportunity. Just imagine the things Edgar could do with a working model of a laser gun! The match itself should be pretty simple. Sabin's got the edge in agility, Bum Rush should put Maria down for the count quickly, and Sabin's excellent physique should let him weather a few popshots from the ray gun toting rebel. Science marches on, all with a little help from one muscleheaded goof. |
Ayra It's been proven time and time again that fists are stronger than guns. Abs of steel easily stop bullets and puny beams, after all. Unfortunately for Sabin, today it was proven that guns that somehow fire huge laser blasts that would be more appropriately-sized fired for spaceship cannons are actually stronger than fists anyway...
