He's waited ten long seasons, but the pampered and prissy Harmonian bishop has finally gotten his turn to prove that he's better than his fragile and overhyped twin. Crushing a Final Fantasy villain should easily do the job, and Golbez’s generally horrible stats and damage means this should be a relatively simple task. One casting of Land of Eternity might not do it, but all that means is that Sasarai could show Golbez the wonders of a second L4 spell charge.

After two appearances by his brother, Golbez finally gets the chance to prove his worth this. Sporting high magic power and amazing finesse in the dark arts, he has little to fear from the flimsy holder of the True Earth Rune. Golbez should be able to take him down quickly, and Virus's HP down status only adds insult to injury. History has shown us that Golbez can only be beaten by one kind of mage: Those who can summon giant meteors on their opponents. And Sasarai doesn't fit that bill.
Dunefar "...I fought my brother..."
"...I've served an evil force..."
"...Oh, the angst..."
On meeting in the ring, Golbez and Sasarai found out they had a large deal in common. It's not everyday that two mages find such similar ground, even in the melting pot of worlds that is the DL universe. So, of course, they sit in the middle of the ring, angsting and comisserating all the while.
So, who ends up winning in this case? Simple. Not known for his endurance, even shooting the breeze about angst is too much HP loss for Golbez to take, and the Dark Knight passes out in the middle of Sasarai's riveting tales of exetential angst.
