Season 22, Week 5
Sheena Fujibayashi
(Tales of Symphonia)

Some might say she wasn't supposed to win as much as she did. Some might say she doesn't really have what it takes. Some even might say she's not really a ninja! But enough is enough. Sheena is here to prove, once and for all, that she hasn't won on sheer blind luck! She's going to put all of her Tarot attacks to smash little princess Flare, and not even the power of sleep can stop her from rising all the way to the top! Sheena Fujibayashi hasn't gone this far in the arena to fall short from victory!

After felling the famous Black Wizard, a former Light Champion, and a 3-eyed alien, Flare reaches the finals - and this all in her DL debut! Her foe this round is...a card-slinging, summon-happy kunoichi. Not the most interesting foe to meet in the finals, but that's besides the point. What matters is that Flare has a Wind Rune, which will drowse and shred poor Sheena, while healing the princess' own wounds. This should be more than enough to bring Flare a title - Suikoden 4's first!

I would need to carve a :rollseye: onto the face of the moon to access my proper feelings about Sheena winning this match. She's trying to beat someone with both healing AND wind of sleep, as well as a dash of magical damage? Flare crushes her like a bug making a big and juicy splatter against my windshield, man. A chesty bug, but still a bug!
