Taya's never been accused of lacking for power - there are Heavy foes who'd fear her magical assaults. What holds her back is mere physical frailty: low HP combined with pitiable physical defense. And neither of those matters a whit in a battle against Tim Rhymeless. Her MP might be limited and his infinite, but a single dose of Atlas2 will either end his life or thoroughly outpace his healing, and no spell he has can kill her as quickly, so he'll never get a chance to run her out of reserves. Game, set and match. |

For Tim, this is a straightforward match, albiet a painful one to win. His opponent has powerful magic. Tim has full healing, and more of it than his opponent has powerful magic. If Tim can last through Atlas smashing him, it's clear sailing to a win. Of course, this is the part that takes work. His magical defenses are great, but it still may not be enough to make up for his frail physique. Still, Tim may be timid, but he doesn't give up. And once he withstands Taya's magic, he'll show her the wrath of a real summoner. |
SageAcrin Some of the most spectacular matchups are over in the blink of an eye. Tim was worried. His main strategy involved surviving a giant squashing him. Not a perfect strategy, by any means. Taya's main strategy was to squash Tim with a giant. Needless to say, the strategy looks much better on her end. Tim's only hope was distraction, obviously. Tim is naive. And, finally, and perhaps most importantly, Jecht was bored today. Really bored. Really, really bored. And the two happened to pass in a hall. (...Well, really, really bored and drunk. But that's a normal state for Jecht.) And so, this is how Taya ended up getting her dress cut off by a wasted Final Aeon. Needless to say, her reaction was along the lines of screaming and summoning Atlas on Jecht. Who promptly smashed both Jecht and Tim. However, the power of the spell is weakened when it is spread among multiple targets. So, Tim lived just long enough to have Jecht pass out on top of him. Then the cameras started going off. Suffice it to say that Tim now has broken enough limbs to become wiser about the world, and Taya entered a convent just long enough for them to kick her out due to so many perverts breaking in because of her.
