Kika's dedicated right-hand man, Sigurd isn't one to waste words. Serious to a fault, this one-time man of Middleport has followed his captain's lead and entered the Duelling League with the noble intention of carving a path all the way to Heavy, where he can stay by her side. His first opponent on this difficult path is Leena, an unassuming young lass at first glance. Of course, a successful pirate learns not to judge by appearances, so Sigurd will give this fight his all. With throwing knives at the ready backed by his trusty Water Rune, he's well on his way to winning this battle, the first of many such victories between him and his lofty goal. |

After a long wait, Serge's girlfriend from another dimension finally enters the DL Arena, ready to show the ancient art of frying pan kung-fu to Light . While Sigurd is one of those silly water mages of the Suiko world, Leena is not at all perturbed. After all, not only does she have healing to match him, but with Maidenheart, she can keep her stock of skills nice and healthy while Sigurd struggles with his limited charges. And if the pirate decides to be cute with Silent Lake, Leena also has techs to pummel him to submission. Between Maidenfaith's boosts and Maidenhand as a brutal finisher, this simple village girl's first victory is practically assured. |
Grefter You really don't want to know what it was that Sigurd did to earn that slap. Wasn't much of a match since no one even turns up to Crono Cross characters matches these days. There was some candles, a nice dinner and some Barry White. Sigurd won technically when Leena stomped out of the arena after slapping him. In an unrelated noted, today Poshul came out of the closet.
