One of Razril's most skilled knights, the strong-willed water mage Jewel is ready to follow her ally Sigurd in escaping Light! Armed with a sharpened sword and the power of water, Jewel's perfectly set up to take down the Mars Adept Garet in what should be a fairly simple battle. Garet's big, dumb and slow, a horrid combination against the faster, more evasive and magically inclined Razril knight. While Jewel's lack of a Level 4 magic charge might stop her from casting her Water Rune's signature spell, Silent Lake, she doesn't even need it. Kindness Drops will keep her healthy, and her sword blows will easily fell Garet. And if push comes to shove, she can pull out Breath of Ice spell to exploit Garet's ice weakness. That's easily enough to take down Garet and bring her one step closer to following Sigurd to Middle.

The power of fire is a frightening thing. Garet's tremendous skills make him pretty scary on his own, and he's downright terrifying when you factor in his spells - some of the best fire-based skills in Light. And he doesn't even need to use his attacks to win a fight. With skills that buff his offense and defense as well as the ability to break his opponent's stats, he has everything he'll need to smash a puny healer like Jewel. All he has to do is survive long enough to get his spells cast, and that won't be a problem against her pathetic offense. Even though she's skilled with ice, she doesn't have the power to exploit Garet's elemental weakness, or a silence spell to shut down his skills. It's just a slugfest between a healer and one of Light's finest damage dealers at that point...and that doesn't sound too good for the knight of Razril.

Jewel tried to seduce Garet.
After all, it defeated his mighty warrior prowess before! And really, who wants to get beaten up by a ditzy redhead?
Garet tried to handle Jewel trying to seduce him.
Both are terrible at these things.
The match ended with Garet asking what Jewel was trying to do, Jewel kicking him in the shins and running out crying, and Garet being awarded the match, followed by Garet chasing after her asking what he'd done wrong.
A few weeks later, they started going out.
Pretty normal relationship, overall.
Jewel: 30
Garet: 31
