To think, Nanami finally gets to compete in the same season as Riou only to see him lose right out of the gate. Naturally, this indignity will not go unpunished, and Nanami's trail of vengeance will begin with...a Valkyrie Profile mage? You've gotta hand it to Nanami, she thinks big. She's found an opponent she can easily beat, at the very least. Mystina has all the durability problems usually associated with dedicated spellcasters, and on top of that her Purify Weird Soul attack is a long time in the execution thanks to her speed problems. Given Nanami's high agility, she shouldn't have any problem throttling the prissy mage into unconsciousness and claiming the victory.

Mystina, a powerful mage, is perhaps best known for competing with Lezard Valeth - and it is in this competition that Mystina became a Einherjar (specifically, she was meddling with some of Lezard's stuff. Always a bad idea), and began assisting Lenneth with her mighty magics (although her headstrong attitude leaves much to be desired). This week, Mystina faces the whiny Nanami. Nanami is a weak opponent without her brother Riou by her side, and Mystina can exploit her low magic defense and HP to quickly tear apart Suikoden II’s clingy female lead. Mystina will prove that the road to the Light championship goes through her by smiting the hapless girl.
