The time has come, once again, for the White Wizard to step into the Arena for great glory. This week, she will face one of Laguna's trusted and closest friends, Kiros Seagill. Unfortunately for him, White Wizard has several different ways to deal with him. She can use Ruse to buff her evasion so that only Kiros' Limit can hurt her, or she can cast Fog and increase her armor to such a level that the Katal wielder cannot even do any damage, even with his Limit. All she has to do is buy herself time, which is -incredibly easy to do- against someone as bad at killing things as Kiros.

Although Kiros only fights while in a demented dream world, leeching Guardian Forces off of Squall’s companions, he does have a skillset of his own! Okay, not really. HOWEVER! He has his weird, awesome blade weapons called Katal, and he is quick and agile with his swipes. Also, his Limit Blood Pain can inflict fear into any combatant - and the damageless wonder White Wizard is no exception! Sure, FF8's duellers may not have the best reputation or luck in the arena, but the limit-hitting White Wizard is just who Kiros was waiting for to get a win. (Nina3 will PAY. One day. Maybe?)

Ahh White wizard vs. Kiros, Kiros has an indesputable advantage coming in, but... white wizard isnt an idiot and raises her stat's alot before the match, she's at level 50, she'll cast FADE until Kiros no longer can stand it, and he loses before he has a chance to use blood rain. Normally charicters are tougher in sequels (Imagine the 4 fiends from FF IV in FFI, it would be impossible to beat as the light warriors would just be no match for Valvalis et al) but here is an exception to that rule, but FF VIII could have done without the Laguna quest.
White Wizard: 64
Kiros Seagil: 33

Kiros can't even translate his weapon name properly, but he's simply less weak (and less androgynous) than White Wizard, not to mention he's fast enough to probably drop the mage before all of her defenses are up.
Moonlight Bomber
Strip Kiros of his junctions (since that'll be unfair to Squall and co.), and the white mage is on to victory.
