What kind of person would ask a pure, generic cleric out for tea? It's certainly a distressing propostion, but nothing can distract a devoted healer like the White Wizard. What she seeks to fix is Light's recent trend of horrible, horrible matches, and Wall is just the cure for Vincent's one-note status tricks. Healing will solve any problems he tries to cause with his fine bladework, with Ruse to make her nigh-unhittable a few turns into the fight (and it's not like his offense is scary even before that). Be it mighty castings of her Holy spell, or thunderous blows from her hammer, she'll grind Vincent into dust. It'll be a slow beating, but doing the right thing and purifying Light of a failure duelist isn't a quick job, especially if you want it done right.

It’s a un-fabulous opponent after the other for the Scarlet Moon nobleman, now isn’t it? First that… wench… he had to face in the elimination round, and now this dull and rather generic wizard? No matter - Vincent will still manage to look dashing and magnificent in battle no matter who he faces! Matching this drab spellslinger healing chant for healing chant, sword stroke for hammer blow and sleep spell for… oh, wait, White Wizard doesn’t have a sleep spell. Pity that. A bit of help from his lovely Wind Rune and Vincent will send this lowly nameless wizard off to dreamland, right before he runs him/her/it through with his sword. Sometimes the most impressive victory is a simple one, no?

Vincent DeBoule, one of the most entertaining charicters to use in Suikoden (then switch him out for Pesmergia when you get serious), especially hus dual tech that rains roses, this is honestly a match that can go either way, however Suikodens level system is quite fixed, HP's are about even, as it turns out whitemage wins with Vincent running out of stamina, and Thors hammer knocks him unconcious.
White Wizard: 53
Vincent DeBoule: 24
