Well, well, well, well! This is a surprise! A few seasons after his Finals appearance, and Karyl is once again in the arena, fighting for the Light Championship that narrowly slipped through his grasp. Now, this is usually the point where Karyl's would reel off a list of his large array of skills and abilities, from the healing capabilities of Waltz to the devastating power of his Golden Voice, but considering his first opponent is frickin' Liz, he probably won't even need them. His surprisingly decent durability and excellent skills at swinging a mean guitar are more than enough to take out this glorified Puny and bring the bard one step closer to the gold. |

After Bulkogidon's win over the Ghostbuster-piloted Statue of Liberty, Liz is supremely confident of his success in the RPGDL arena this season. His finely crafted scientific mind is at it's peak, and what does he have standing before him? A mere singer? A trifling worry at best. Sounds are merely invisible waves, and Liz has TONS of experience with those! That's what being a scientist is all about! It's all a matter of setting his Chef's Whimsy Bomb to counteract the exact pitch and tone in Karyl's voice and it'll be a cakewalk. He's got some decent speed as a fighter and a genius mind, so he'll be able to come up with the correct formula in time, right? Right? |
SageAcrin They say music soothes the savage beast. Liz, knowing that he would be fighting a bard, was prepared! He had diagrams comparing the physical structure of himself and a savage beast(Beatrix, acting as Judge: "I'm not sure a Rabite counts.".). He had critical testamony(Brad: "Well...I don't think he's...savage.". Ashley: "He's more of a lunatic.". Lilka: "Mmm. These are good jelly donuts.", Ard: "Ard, ard, ard, ardardard!". The word of Shinra's vice-present carried much weight.). He had DNA diagrams showing he was neither savage nor a beast(Lexis, acting judge: "Isn't this Mewtwo's DNA?". Mewtwo, also acting judge: *Throws Liz into a wall.* -Stay. Out. Of. My. Genetic. Material.-). He had long, impassioned, philosophical speeches(Lexis: "I think I understand where you're going. The kumquat represents your magnificent stature, while-" Mewtwo: -You're officially a lunatic. Both of you.".). And he had the finest psychologists in the league back him up(Beatrix: *Throws Liz into a wall.* "ALBEDO IS NOT ONE OF THE FINEST PSYCHOLOGISTS IN THE LEAGUE.".). When all was said and done, he had convinced the judges(Mewtwo: -Look, just agree with him and he'll go away..). Liz left, satisfied. Karyl wondered when the match was going to start.
