Ah, Koyu's a little brat who likes to get in trouble. Reminds Miranda of her own boy, all grown up now… *sniff*. No time to get all soft now, though! Miranda's within a hair's breadth of going to the finals and upgrading to the same division as her Yuki! She won't let a few sniffles get in the way of that! Koyu's speed is impressive, as is his axework, but can he outrun or dodge a Tremor? Nope. Rending the earth and giving poor Koyu a lump on the head with magic may not be fair, but it's at least less painful than grounding him. Nothing stops a mother on the warpath, which Miranda certainly is! |

Following in his elder brother Gijimu's footsteps, Koyu has two wins in his Light debut, and has an excellent chance at a third. Of course, Koyu's method for getting there will be quite different from his brother's. Sure, Koyu will still beat the physically frail Miranda with an axe, but unlike his brother, Koyu will do it quickly! The Lampdragon Bandit's Gale rune will allow him to overwhelm slower opponent with attacks, even if they aren't as powerful as his brother's. All things considered, the young bandit has an excellent chance to repeat the success his brother had in his first Light season! |
SageAcrin Koyu was confident. After all, Miranda may have advantages in many areas, possibly, but he held one trump card she could never have. With the Gale Rune at his side, he'd rule Light! As he should have ages ago! Or at least get some money, which, really, was all that mattered. And maybe Gijimu would stop taunting him about his own championship. The Lampdragon Bandits were still well off after that, but more cash couldn't hurt, could it? --- Miranda smirked. Koyu's mouth hung open. How had she done it? One strike...and....he...couldn't move...couldn't...breathe... Koyu fell lifeless to the arena floor. "Hehe. I love this place." Miranda laughed, as she glanced at the runes on her hands. "Not only did it work, the irony's great." She added, noting the Boost, Double-Edge and Fury Runes covering her body. "That'll show him to get lucky with Runes." "Hey, honey, you did great!" Miranda called out in addition, to a pile of rubble. "Next...time...could...you please...get...some...other...diversion for the judges...please?"
