It took her four matches, but Miranda has finally come face to face with something she didn't expect in Light; an opponent she cannot completely obliterate with White Silver Dragon. Saki's far too tough for such quick win tactics, but this won't dishearten Miranda; she is, after all, a healer, and thus built for attrition fights just as well as quick wins. Her blazing speed will force Saki to use several turns casting Speedy to not get left behind, and her Dragoon form gives her massive defence boosts while she's in it, which will be most of the time. Toss in plenty of full healing as well as two different flavours of holy-typed damage in the one-use WSD and the multi-use Star Children, and Miranda definitely has what it takes to be a champion, albeit of the RPGDL's lowest division.

Saki holds the record of being the most successful and imposing Grandia boss of all time, and she's earned it! Sergeant Saki is now fighting for the honour of a Light championship, and she's not in bad shape. Her stat boosting will be very painful to the White Silver Dragoon, and Saki has the HP to withstand Miranda's summoning. Miranda need to forgo her favourite dragon for healing if she wants a chance of standing up against the Garlyle officer, since Saki's not going down without a fight, and she'll capitalise on Miranda's pitiful physical damage over and over again.

Time seemed to stop. A few had a heart attack or three from the news. Somewhere, a sun exploded, and Sephiroth was nowhere to be seen. In the Arena, the entire audience had fainted dead away.
A Grandia boss had won a championship. And she deserved it.
Miranda: 5
Saki: 7

Sure Saki has buffing, but the reason Grandia bosses are mocked isn't because they lack staying power, but because they lack offensive power. Which means that when she's faced by a target that's fast and can both halve damage and heal 10% of their HP at will, she just won't have the strength to keep up. It'll be a long battle, but Miranda will take it in the end.
