Normally, for such a beautiful lady, Ricardo might play a tragic sonata of love; however, his mind is currently focused solely on battle. Of course, having a demonic girlfriend competing in Heavy might be an influence to keep him in line as well. No matter the cause, however: this focus spells disaster for poor Shir. While her damage may be passable, her extremely limited resources will make it a snap for Ricardo to outheal or just plain outregen her damage. Without any more magical ammo to throw at the mariachi’s way, the less than durable Shir will be dead in the water, open to both Ricardo’s physicals and his fire spells. A few Fated Day’s End will not only end the thief’s day, but also her run at the championship.

Thief against Mariachi, a duel of vagabond heroes. How much cooler than that does it get, eh? Well, it could be better if Shir was actually as stylish and cool as her opponent, but, well, Phantasy Star 2 characters. You know how it goes and we run with what we get. But what Shir may lack in character, she makes up for in speed and magical power. Being able to run circles around most other Lights while dropping Nazan after Nazan makes her someone to be taken seriously, so Ricardo had better bring his best game if he wants a shot at winning this fight. He'd better also look into some theft insurance, because Shir is just as interested in that badass guitar as she is in winning the match - and that says a lot!
