So, we have an opponent who has 10% regeneration, fire based damage which will be halved against Mia and a weakness to ice. Trivial for Mia, it must be said. The 10% regeneration isn't going to add up to much at all, it is a mere delaying tactic. Ricardo is reduced to mere physical attacks thanks to the magic damage halving. With that the speed is quite possibly an acceptable loss just to completely overpower the weak healing. It is a day where the world will not be set ablaze, but chilled to its very core. The weakness to ice will easilly make Ice Wall out damage whatever Mia's fire spells could bring to the table regardless. His guitar strings will snap, his mechanical parts will jam, his fingers will become frost bitten, his ears will fall off. Ricardo's defeat will be all-encompassing. |

Many said he could not win a championship. His sweet song silenced them, and yet, again they cried out that he would not win another championship in this arena. And yet, Ricardo has already taken down two opponents, and he’s looking to soon take down another. Mia might be a little plain to waste his love songs on, but the mariachi has plenty of war songs to give her trouble this match, anyway. Even with his minor Ice weakness, his Fire resistance and 10% Regen will give Mia problems making her damage stick against the suave singer. Of course, Mia also has to choose between speed and extra damage, both of which would be needed to beat Ricardo. With a few early hits, and a possible little bit of stalling until a double, Ricardo has plenty of time to sing of Mia’s demise. |
SageAcrin Ricardo's plan was obvious. After all, his strategy had worked against the last woman he fought! Certainly, he'd been dumped a few days later when her memory came back fully, but it was still an excellent strategy! It'd be sure to work again! --- "Why's Ricardo wearing his guitar and looking depressed?" Mao whispered to Johnny curiously. "Edna finally found out he was here and hitting on other women, in every way possible. It was a good thing he'd won by that point. Well, sort of a good thing, considering he was hitting on Mia by that point." Johnny whispered back, as Ricardo sighed deeply. "So when does Nash burn the guitar off of him?" Mao asked.
