Season 45, Week 5
Yukimaru
(Disgaea 2: Cursed Memories)

The fated hour approaches, the long-sought prize, so closely anticipated, leaves its rosy, enticing scent upon the air. A wave of gently snow-laden cherry blossoms flows through the air and Yukimaru, calm and confident, her mind fully focused upon her trusty mantra, enters the arena. Her foe is clearly a wise warrior, focusing on every aspect of warfare, skilled in blade and magic, learned in both the black and white arts, a ninja in soul if not in name. But none of his skill can match the power of Yukimaru's killer technique, the fearsome Midare Fubuki. And now, victory shimmering in the not-too-distant future, Yukimaru charges into battle. ZAM!

ZAM this, ZAM that. This ninja's little speech gimmick is getting quite tiresome. As such, none better than a voiceless generic to shut Yukimaru's annoying yap. Red Wizard, the bonafide jack-of-all-trades in Light, should be able to manage that. After all, Yukimaru is a straight, unimpressive slugger running off very limited resources, and Red Wizard has plenty of options, healing being just the basics. If he cares to be fancy, his status spells should be able to shut her offense down for good, and a few castings of Ruse will make it impossible for Yukimaru to even hurt the versatile fighter/mage. Red Wizard has a proud tradition of variety in RPGs, and upkeep it he shall.

It's pretty simple, really.

Red Wizard twinked.

And fiddled.

And optimized.

And powergamed.

And ground in added dungeons found in various alternate versions of his game.

And Yukimaru simply exploded upon entering the arena.

Sure, it wasn't legal.

But when you spam your catchphrase that much? The judges get really sick of it.

And by judges, I mean Rozalin. Connections are useful.

Yukimaru: 17
Red Wizard: 32
