Season 50, Week 2
Jane Maxwell
(Wild Arms: Alter Code F)

When Jane first heard she was fighting Slash, she sweated a bit. After all, guitar playing was more Jack's forte. But when she heard it wasn't THAT Slash, she was much more confident in her chances. Unfortunately though, it did render a week of intensive guitar lessons completely useless. Anyway, Jane's used to dealing with comically inept villain help. While she won't quite blow him away, her devilish speed and bag of interesting tricks will make things really tough for Slash. You can tell from her frame that Jane is a bit on the frail side, but it won't matter in the least. After all, Slash can't win if he can't get a turn!

Ahaha, another hapless damsel just happens to try her luck against Slash's thirsty blade! Well, it has been a very long time since the devilish Mystic had a chance to slug it out in the Duelling League, so this will be more than welcome for him! The Drifter Jane may be sorta annoying for Slash to hack through, considering her evasion and quickness, but that’s all she has. Her terrible damage means that Slash has quite a long time to connect with the few blade flurries he needs to defeat her, and his own resilience will give him an even bigger edge. This should be a cinch, and the first step in Slash's domination of Light!

Slash prepared for this match in a truly villianous fashion. No, he didn't research Miss Maxwell's weaknesses nor prepare counts for What Could You Do? Slash used his excellent speed to sneak into Jane's rooms and destroy her date book and planner, along with sending Ozzie to distract Magdalen before the fight started so Jane wouldnl't show up. Jane's bright and wily enough, but distracable in the extreme. Flea sent to her rooms right before the fight kept Calamity Jane occupied and made sure he didn't come to the arena, making Slash the winner by default.

Just like the old saying goes, Slash had no place in the Diary of Jane.
