Ehehehe. After the division was glutted with Fire-Bringers this season, it was only natural for the real talent to rise to the top. A little slash here, a little slice there, and a championship was almost a certainty with Landis' level of skill. How could a lizard, a little girl and a Karayan ever compare? Not to mention all the other putzes in this division, of course... But now we're at the finals, which means the cream of the crap. Serph ain't no slouch, but all the same things in Landis' bag of tricks that got him this far will work on Serph as well. It'll be a stunning victory, worthy of a championship that'll allow Landis to leave this chump division behind forever, and rise to Middle in a blaze of glory! |

After getting so many delicious treats to eat, Serph's final opponent is quite far from delectable - in fact, the leader of the Solids has to wonder if Landis is even digestible at all. But this should be a rather simple doubt to solve: Serph's mighty Bufudyne spells and impressive durability can handle Landis' poor offense, and even tricks like Freeze can't save him from meeting a quick, final death at the hands of the Atma Demon. The winged goth may have yapped about being a harbinger of death and destruction for years now, but it's about time for Serph to show this pretender the power of a real demon - and maybe, afterward, he will get a chance to show his might in Middle. |
DjinnAndTonic Serph was excited about the upcoming match against Landis. Sure, he knew the Suikoden duelist was a magical tank, but Serph had one trick up his sleeve that everyone had long forgotten: his Hunt skills. With the ability to devour monsters, how could he -possibly- lose? Wait... what do you -mean- a bat-winged, claw-handed, scythe-wielding grim reaper doesn't count as a monster?!
