Season 61, Week 1
Blastoise
(Pokémon Series)

After a difficult match or two, Blastoise is glad to be taking a break. Melville may have fought his way to the semifinals, but he's nothing but a child! Blastoise's powerful magic will quickly send Melville to a watery grave, especially considering his low HP and magic defense, both of which will keep him unable to withstand the turtle's blows. Of course, Blastoise has both excellent defense and Withdraw to make sure he can weather Melville's front, although considering how much of a damage edge Blastoise has, his defenses are just icing here!

A tough monster guarding the path to victory? It's just like the fiends that guarded the treasure in the Northern Cavern. Such fiends can easily be dealt with by the burning sword of justice, which Melville just happens to possess. The Swordsman of Rage of the Saint Loa Knights is far stronger than his age and small frame suggests - he packs a mean punch with his ruthlessly deadly critical hits, and stood toe to toe with the unholy True Wind Rune Incarnate created by Luc. A mere water toy like Blastoise is nothing after such challenges!

DragonKnight Zero
Bruised and battered, Blastoise staggers out of the ring.

It had won actually. However, doing a victory dance, Blastoise offered to take off its shell. Many Pokemon in attendance did not wish for such an occurrence and enough possess ranged attacks to back up their viewpoints.
