After ages of being shut out of the championships, Pokemon will finally have two chances to succeed this season! Of course, Blastoise has the easier job: after a tough downgrade, he's been drowning Light in Hydro Cannons all season. Diego may be a competent fighter, but he doesn't deal with mages so well. After all, his piss-poor magic durability makes him badly wilt to magic, and he doesn't even get to counter it. Blastoise shouldn't have any issues shutting Diego down quickly, while Diego will struggle to get past Blastoise's hard shell. Finally the shoulder cannon-clad tortoise will have the shot to get back to its rightful division with a bang! |

After a handy win over the reigning champ of Light, Diego is set to take his proper place at the forefront of the various grunts and vassals of the DL by assuming the throne of Light himself! Last in his way is some fat turtle. Granted, said turtle has cannons on its back (?!?!!?), but once Diego takes to the skies, his natural evade will take over and give him the advantage. Blastoise is durable, but not as durable as a turtle should be, so Diego is in prime position to take run, nay, fly away with this one. No shell is completely impenetrable, and a spear is as good a weapon as any to pry whatever may be inside out... and what's inside may just be a Light belt! |
Sei Have you ever tried firing an arrow or using a spear while underwater? Yeah, Diego had just as much luck trying either one here. Maybe he should have asked his fellow Sky Lord, Amon, for scuba-diving lessons. Blastoise: 19 |
