The dishonored Einherjar finds himself locked in quite a battle this week. The fact that it happens to be against a mewling child is of no consequence to Janus, however, as he is wise enough to not judge his foes by appearance alone. Though his footwork isn't as quick as young Melville, he has a grand advantage in experience, and his fiery crossbow damage is nothing to scoff at. Janus has entered this season with his thoughts set on the championship, and he doesn't intend to let any little boy stand in his way. |

Saint Loa Knights, march! Melville marks his return to the RPGDL with a battle against the skillful archer Janus, a knight who has weathered more battles than the young adventurer has birthdays. Ever the precocious optimist, though, Meville hasn't been seeming too worried; his critical hit rate is highly esteemed in the League, and he's easily outspeed the bearded bowman. The lad's fight certainly won't be an easy one, but that's not something which has ever stopped him before. |
Dunefar Janus poisons Melville. Like any good, caring doctor, Doctor Tuta immediately dashes out and confines the boy to a week's bed rest to get over his illness. Thus, Janus goes on while Melville gets lots of medicine. The world is hardly fair to children, is it? Janus: 16 |
