The mage from Solaris has proven that the third time is the charm. With her win over Milich, Elly has eclipsed her best League performance and reached her first final. This week she faces the Guardian of Desire, Lucied, in what should be a even and hard-fought match. She may lack speed and durability, but Lucied could hardly claim to best her in those departments. With a few cracks of her rod and a possible spell or two to aid her along the way, Elly should wrap up her latest season in glorious fashion. |

After an incredible victory over Princess Nina Wyndia III, the Guardian of Desire, Lucied has made it to the Light Division Championship Match, and faces yet another female lead who he will easily crush. Although lacking in speed and durability, his opponent’s deathblow and ether beats are hardly a threat to Lucied. Combine that with the fact that Elly is almost as slow and fragile as Lucied, and that Lucied’s damage actually is a threat to the Solarian, Lucied will have no problem overcoming his opponent and taking his rightful place as the Season 10 Light Division Champion. |
Guruuvu no Akujin Lucied. Easy. I like Elly as a character, and if her Ether abilties were ever actually at 400, that might be something. On the other hand, Ether in Xenogears is near worthless, she has few HP, low defenses and low attack power. Lucied on the other hand is the partnered to the coolest demon in WA. Even if Elly beats Luceid- "The cycle of desire never ends. Lucied can never die." Luceid will just revive and keep going. Elly van Houten: 12 |
