Season 13, Week 4
Vinsfeld Rhadamanthus
(Wild Arms 2)

Holding his mighty sword, Mad Mountains, Vinsfeld is ready to take on the Motavian Axe wielder, Gryz. Vinsfeld's careful study of his opponent shows that Gryz relies on instant death and brute strength to win. Knowing that, it is clear Gryz is obviously nothing more than a musclebound twit who can't match a mind as brilliant as the terrorist leader's. With boss immunities, high HP, and superior speed, Vinsfeld is ready to show Gryz that swinging an axe wildly won't get you far against a true master.

Motavian pride and stolid axe work are the trademarks of the mighty warrior Gryz. Although Vinsfeld is immune to Gryz’s ability to instantly slay him with Crash, the blathering villain has no way to defend himself against even a single mighty blow from Gryz's weapon. The Motavian's War Cry shall shake the arena to the depths of its very foundations. After that, even Vinsfeld's pure ideals will provide no defense against the very axe strikes that rival the earth-shattering powers of both Megid and Legeon.

Anti-Axeman
Facing the oft mocked midboss of Wild ARMs 2, Gryz was bored. So, needless to say, he wasted little time with formalities and went right to the face-axing after Incuring Vinsfeld's Wrath.

Which failed to do Vinsfeld in. So, he suffered another Wrath that he Incured, and tried again. It bloodied up the not-so-pretty boy's face, but still failed to do him in. The exchange of Wrath and Axe Continued until Visfeld got lucky and Gryz fell to the ground.

MORAL OF THE STORY: Planting your axe into someone's face is one way to get ahead in the DL; for everything else, there's HP and ID.

Vinsfeld Rhadamanthus: 28
Gryz: 10

The Axeman
Gryz was bored. Very, very bored. He really wanted to fight his opponent, but Vinsfeld decided to use the time alloted to characters to make an entry-line before the fight to talk endlessly about his "Pure Ideals." Gryz just wanted to fight.

Finally, Vinsfeld had shut up, and the bell rang. Vinsfeld got into his attack position.

Gryz hit him in the face with his axe really hard.

MORAL OF THE STORY: Having Pure Ideals is one way to get ahead in life, but it's hard to argue with an axe to the face.
