Master of the fire Djinn and known best for his ability to take a hit, Garet isn't your normal fighter. Mouthy, and blessed with an extensive skillset, he's quite the opposite of the tactiurn Marcus who's only known for his skills with weapons. Forunately, a purely physical opponent plays right to Garet's best defenses, and the stimulus of Garet's blistering Psyenergies is just the thing to get a comment out of Marcus. Sadly for the paladin, those comments will likely just pleas for help getting to the local burn ward...

The Knight Force of Pherae hasn't gone far in the DL as yet: Eliwood and Lowen were both felled in their first matches. But Marcus, the most experienced of Pherae's Paladins, is here to mend that woeful record. And against the Djinn master Garet, all Marcus needs to do for a win is use his impressive prowess with all weapons. The sheer volume of counters and his experience will guarantee him a victory, and the Knights of Pherae shall be honored in the DL, finally. No Psyenergy can stand against the power of a true paladin!

Marcus, knowing his opponent was a swordsman, openned up nice and easily and smacked Garet with his spear
"Ow! That Hurt! Why'd you do that? Isaac! What should I do to him! Tell me!"
"..."
"Hey! Good idea!" Garet said, as he charged at Marcus smacking him with his sword...only to eat Marcus' Counter in return.
"Isaac, THAT DIDN'T WORK! Oh wait, that's not what you meant?"
"*Sad Face Icon chosen*"
"Oh, so you meant I should use Heatwave, right?"
"*Smiley Face Icon is chosen*"
"Alright, should I use it?"
"...*Smiley face Icon is chosen*"
"Alright, here it goes!" as he fired it at Marcus, blasting him out of the arena.
"Say, Isaac, did I win?"
At this point, Garet was forced to be carried out of the arena, at Isaac's request (or rather, Ivan, who was standing by Isaac, had gotten annoyed and decided to speak FOR Isaac to security, and having read Garet's mind knew what was about to come next, but that's besides the point)...this did not however stop his incesant whining or questioning.
Well, on the bright side, he still won.
